Not wanted... Joan Baez

Nothing says I support the troops by the following comments:

"I have always been an advocate for nonviolence and I have stood as firmly against the Iraq war as I did the Vietnam War 40 years ago," she wrote. "I realize now that I might have contributed to a better welcome home for those soldiers fresh from Vietnam. Maybe that's why I didn't hesitate to accept the invitation to sing for those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan. In the end, four days before the concert, I was not 'approved' by the Army to take part. Strange irony."

By the way.... that statement is not the definition of irony. How on earth can you be surprised that the ARMY does not and did not approve you??? You want to be accepted? Go out and find some Vietnam Vets, tell them how sorry you are for treating them like shit and then thank them for their service.

Give me a fucking break. I'm sick to death of the hypocrites that pay lip service to the troops as though SAYING they support them is supporting them? What does that even mean to you people? You cannot support the troops by being against EVERYTHING that they do. You owe your way of life and your freedom to them - singing a few hippie songs about rainbows and ponies and getting high doesn't appeal to them. Pathetic. They don't want or need your charity, go peddle it to someone who cares, - that bitch Sheehan, Sheen, Baldwin etc....

You tell'em Kelly

I am conflicted at times on Monday nights with "Two and a half men" being one of my favorite shows but also knowing what a whackjob Sheen is,boy that apple didn't fall far from the idiot tree did it?

I justify my watching by knowing Angus T.Jones(12 yr. old kid)is too young for politics so in my mind this balances out the Anti-American rhetoric Sheen spews.

UGH!!! A show only a guy could like. You must break yourself from this horrible habit. That asshole Sheen is doing the narrative for a 9/11 conspiracy movie that is going to be shown all over the world. That alone should turn you off to him forever. The nerve of him to demean the memory of the Americans that were murdered that day by our enemies. Damn... now you've got me all pissed off.

Just be happy that after he does narrate the 9/11 movie being put out by the basketball guru Mark Kubin, that Sheens show will tank

Sorry for upsetting you Kelly, next time I will keep my dirty little secret a secret.......

Cheer up it's hump day and the rest of the week as I used to look at it is over.......
