It hard to put it all into words.....I have been going through what you have, up, down, up, down, and now finally up.....
Jr. would have been a fool to go to Atlanta, where he would have been met with a yawn. As much impact as if the Mariners had signed Garret Anderson or some other free agent.
But now Jr. is coming home, and every game will be an event, every at bat a standing ovation.....
And I know Jr. still has the magic in him, the magic that hit 8 home runs in 7 games....At the same time I sold 8 houses in one week....
I felt a connection with Griffey, like, his success or mine, fed off each others.....I will never forget that feeling or my connection with Jr. for that week......

It is hard to put into words. My kid has thought I've been crazy the past few days - up and down and crying. I just said you don't understand how it was with him when he was here. It feels like he is coming home to me and to all of us.
