I have the honor of paying tribute to Natalie Janis Lasden, she was 46 years old on 9/11/01. Janis was traveling to California with her boyfriend Don DiTullio on American Airlines Flight 11. Janis was adept at quilting, sewing, gardening, and computers. Janis and Don met about four years ago at a country-western dance. After they became a couple, they danced every Friday night at the Moose Club. They doted on their dogs, Shiloh, Sasha, and Jessie—they called them their “kids.” They loved to celebrate with family at birthdays, anniversaries, holidays. They loved to travel. And they loved each other.
Janis has many messages that have been left for her, she was loved and is missed. These are some of the messages that I found from her friends and family. The messages from her sister Linda are especially heart breaking.

So happy you will have a park named for you to honor your memory; such a lasting tribute to a life taken too early. You will never be forgotten. Eight years have passed since Mom's surprise birthday party of which you were a big part. Love and miss you.Janice (Don's sister)

Dear JanisI want to remember you as I saw you at Arthur's and my 50th anniversry party at the Ramada on july 4th, 1998. You were such a bright, intelligent girl full of hope and dreams for the future. I wish you had never taken flight 11. We all miss you. Auntie Jane(Jeanne Lavoie Plourde) Lewiston,, Maine

Janice was my cousin. I remember her being so nice when visiting us in Lewiston in the summer. I was only 4 or 5 but she was so funny and sweet Miss you. Ray Dube, cousin. Son of Gil and Dot Dube.
