2009 - Good riddance

While many good things happened in 2009 - the kid growing up for one and the babies born for another - not to mention Griffey coming back to the Mariners. I am saying good riddance to 2009. I hope to NEVER have another year like this year - not even the whole year though, from October 31st until December 29th - just under two months. The reason??? In less than two months we have had SIX Law Enforcement Officers murdered. Six. In two months. A friend asked me how I was, as she knows this is hard on me. It is, I don't know if it's because we grew around civil servants, my dad is a retired Seattle Fireman and we would spend hours at the station around his station family and cops were always there. My pain over these SIX murders is nothing compared to the LE community, their friends and family and especially the THIRTEEN children that has lost a parent. No more. No more in 2010.

Your blue light

In honor of the four Lakewood Police Officers that were brutally killed last Sunday, and to also honor Off. Tim Brenton who also was killed for no rational reason on 10/31 - please put a blue light in your window to honor them and all of the Police who's job is to keep all of us safe. There goal each day is to go home after their shift. These five did not make it home. Please honor them.

EOW 11.29.09

My last post was on the murder of SPD Officer Tim Brenton. This post is the same, X4. Yes we had FOUR Officers murdered on Sunday. It's just about unbearable and I don't even know any of them or their families.
I have nothing to offer them except my profound sadness. This does not help race relations for me and they weren't great to begin with. I view it as me/us vs. them. The mentality of what they, the killer and those that helped him, is that of an animal. I feel sick and heartbroken.
Thankfully a hero SPD was able to protect his life and shot the gunman like the animal he is. I am thrilled but it does nothing to ease the grief the families and NINE father and motherless children feel. I wish there was a hell that they all could burn in. To their supporters: do not go to court in support of these animals. It won't bode well for you. Do us humans a favor and just go away forever. They don't care about the deep pain they have caused - they are not human beings. Want proof of that pain check out mynorthwest.com or Seattletimes.com to see pictures of the devastation they helped to cause. I'd post them here but don't feel it's my place to do so.

Rage

I don't expect my police to be executed. Don't expect them to have to sit in bullet proof cars for christs sake. I am probably naive to think that someone from the ghetto wouldn't pull alongside a cop car and open fire, then back away - so as not to be seen on the dash board camera. That shit doesn't happen in Seattle, WA, that's a Compton/Inglewood/Long Beach thing right? I am so pissed that this happened to an SPD Officer. I have no doubt this animal will be caught, am sure most SPED worked all weekend. I just hope he gets exactly what he deserves.
This picture is from the Seattle Times. Notice the Officer on the left that is saluting the body of Officer Timothy Brenton.

9/11/01

I loathe liberals and I'm sure the feeling is mutual. Obama and his lib pals have decided to take over 9/11 and make it a day of helping others.... I'm all for helping others but they are taking 9/11 and turning it into a shiny happy day where, can't we all just get along instead of a day of rememberance of our fellow Americans. I looked up the day of good or whatever bullshit name it is and this is what I found for volunteer opportunities on 9/11 in Seattle:

1. Cat shelter
2. Office work
3. Board member
4. Teaching English to illegals

Pathetic and so typical of the left to hijack 9/11 for their own uses. Yeah I said hijack. Just ignore that day and what happened and it will all go away. Lets remember it as a day that some cans were recycled instead of what it was:

Oh. My. God.

SADDER UPDATE: Griffey is not coming to Seattle. Damn.

SAD UPDATE: It's not looking good for Seattle. Stupid Atlanta is pulling hard for Griffey and based on Griffey's past decisions regarding family - he will most likely go to Atlanta. Sigh....... so close to nirvana.

It's close. Griffey is this close to coming back to me. Ah - the world makes sense again.
