Paige Farley-Hackel 9/11/01

I have the honor of paying tribute to Paige Farley-Hackel. Paige was 46 years old on 9/11/01. She was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. Paige was a writer and motivational speaker from Newton, Mass., and was looking forward to having the first few episodes of her new radio program, "Spiritually Speaking," hit the airwaves. She had a dream: in two years or so, she wanted to either be featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" or be Oprah's biggest rival. Paige was married to Allen Hackel, "I cry at the feeling that these murderers took her life away so prematurely."
Now, a year later, Paige's family is making sure her life's work continues...
They've established the victory programs Paige Farley Hackel Free Care Fund, which provides no cost treatment to women and children struggling with addiction, AIDS or psychiatric problems. In less than three months more than $100,000 has been donated in Paige's memory. From her son, "She made that the foundation of her life. Giving back was a big thing."
And from her daughter, Jodi Hackel Miller,"That was her whole reason for living. To give back what other people gave to her…. Kindness, tolerance… She wouldn't want it any other way."

Paige sounded like an incredible and well loved person. Here are some message that have been left for her over the years....
Your voice is still strong. Missing you more today than other days. You know I love you - as I said before, always have, always will!Leah(Lisa) Donahue Nashua, New Hampshire
